If You Like Community, You Should Watch Summer Heights High
HBO’s Summer Heights High may not match Community in its pop culture obsession, but it meets eye-to-eye sitcom in zany school antics. The mockumentary stars Chris Lilley as its three main characters — megalomaniacal Mr. G, snooty teen Ja’mie King and certified bad kid Jonah — and yet they’re as diverse as our lovable study group members. We especially recommended SHH to anyone who like Community’s most recent “Regionals” episode, for its ridiculous original songs. (Bonus: Lilley was recently back on HBO with another series, Angry Boys.)
